May 17: TIME TRAVEL!

Time Travel

“. . . there is a time appointed for every matter and purpose and every work.” (Ecclesiastes 3:17 – AMP)

1. Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because the power of memory and vision are enabling me to put the now into perspective. With the eye of truth I am able to see into the distant past, and solve the mysteries of my life — and with the eye of faith I am able to see into the distant future, and declare the end from the beginning.

2. Today I will travel back in my memory to get in touch with my childhood, knowing that Jesus made childlike-ness a requirement for entrance into the Kingdom. The imagination, innocence, playfulness, and sense of wonder of my youth still remain buried in my sub-conscious (spirit), and the Keys of the Kingdom are unlocking the prophetic imagery that is produced by the positive parts of my past. I will also know when it is time to put away childish things.

3. Today I will listen to the messages that my dreams and night-visions are conveying to me. Instead of being haunted by horrible images from yesterday, I will recognize that my soul is bringing these things to the surface in an effort to help and heal itself for a better tomorrow.

4. Today I will know the difference between what needs to be resurrected and what needs to stay buried. My sense of timing and propriety, under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, will help me to know what to do and say, and what not to do and say.

5. Today I will see my life as a whole entity, and will accept it for what it is. I will not complain, nor slow my progress through the pointlessness of regret, “But by the grace of God I am what I am . . . ” (1 Corinthians 15:10).

6. Today I will keep talking myself into my future, propelling my faith to maintain the motivation for mental mobility in a mature manner. I can’t afford to get my life stuck in a time warp now, because I know too much and there is too much for me to do. The future is calling me, so I must move forward!

7. Today I will believe that I am not getting older, but that I am getting better as I grow in God and learn my life-lessons. I will embrace the sage-like wisdom and oak-like strength that comes from having lived a full life. Today I will travel the road of life successfully, and today I will live in the now!

Father, help me to appropriately navigate my past and my future today. In Jesus’ name, amen.

April 2: KINGDOM KEYS!

open-doors1

And that’s not all.  You will have complete and free access to God’s kingdom,

keys to open any and every door:  no more barriers between heaven and earth,

earth and heaven.  A yes on earth is a yes in heaven.  A no on earth is no in heaven.

(Matthew 16:19 The Message)

1.       Today I will live in the now!  I will live in the now by accepting the responsibility that rests in the reception of the Keys of the Kingdom.  There was transference of authority and a transition of power that transpired when Jesus transmitted those Keys to His church in the earth and, as a part of that church, I am a shareholder in His authority!

2.       Today I will make a positive difference in the world by bringing about positive changes in my life.  I cannot alter my world without being willing to alter myself, and I can’t change myself until I change my mind!  I will, therefore, stop ignoring the obvious Kingdom Keys in my mental and emotional possession today and will use them to transform my losing patterns into winning skills.

3.       Today I will do something significant to improve my attitude so that I can impact others for good and better the conditions around me.  Through my own Kingdom Keys, I have the power within me to make definite demands on heaven that will affect my inner world—my thought processes, my personality, my world-view—causing His will to be done in my mind as it is in heaven!

4.       Today I will reject any form of a victim mentality because I am empowered by His authority.  His Kingdom Keys in my mouth will help to advance His rule on the earth in my sphere of influence, so I will talk up my victories in Him and play down my weaknesses.  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!

5.       Today I will believe for the impossible, using the Kingdom Keys of faith and vision.  I will take the lid off the box and let the dreams flow and grow to expand my borders and broaden my horizons.  I will see my problems in a whole new way today and will find a second wind within me that will enable me to easily overcome them.  I will run and not be weary; I will walk and not faint!

6.       Today I will be a building block in the true church and the gates of Hades, the unseen realm, will not prevail against me in my endeavors to advance the Kingdom.  Keys to deliverance and the pulling down of strongholds will be easily accessible to me today.

7.       Today I will use the Keys to unlock my destiny as a liberator, a visionary and a reconciler.   A new door is opening for me today, and today I will live in the now!

Father, thank You for the Keys to Your Kingdom.

Help me to use them effectively today.  In Jesus’ name, amen

March 29: IMAGINE POSSIBILITIES!

earth

And the Lord said, Behold, they are one people and they have all one language; and this is only the beginning of what they will do, and now nothing they have imagined they can do will be impossible to them. (Genesis 11:6 AMP)

 1. Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because the power of my God-given imagination enlarges me and allows me to rise above the limitations of the finite world and the rigors of the day’s responsibilities. The Mind of Christ is the source of my creativity and intellectual liberty, and today is a good day to just let the river flow! His thoughts are higher than mine and they elevate me to a higher dimension in Him—revelation and illumination working together.

2. Today I will imagine the possibility of life without the restraints of time—eternal life emanating from the “I Am.” I will believe I receive when I pray, inheriting the promises through faith and patience because I know that, to God, there is no difference between a day and a thousand years!

3. Today I will make the effort to bring my spirit, soul and body into complete agreement and unity (1 Thessalonians 5:23). In the same way that God declared that the people’s unified imagination made anything possible for them, I say that “I am ONE” (whole, unified, interconnected) and nothing that I imagine to do will be impossible to me because I have ONE LANGUAGE…the Word of God…and it is my final authority!

4. Today I will seek the perspective of someone who is able to think outside of the box, allowing iron to sharpen iron through creative dialogue. I will not consider it coincidence when I connect with someone new, who brings me a now word.

5. Today I will refuse to be retarded by religious prejudice and archaic thinking. I will not engage in the foolishness of answering a matter before I hear it, but will listen to the wisdom that cries out to me from the streets.

6. Today I will nourish the prophetic in me, allowing my inner young man to see visions and my inner old man to dream dreams. Today I will dream the dreams of God Himself, wearing my coat of many colors with no timidity!

7. Today I will leave my tent as Abram did and will get out and look up into the night skies, counting the stars to increase my vision. In my heart I believe that there is no problem facing me today that I cannot rise above in my imagination, and my faith will become the substance of the things that I hope for. Today I will remember my supernatural potential for doing great things in this way, and today I will live in the now!

Holy Spirit, help me to imagine possibilities today. In Jesus’ name, amen.

March 18: CUTTING EDGE!

sword

For the Word that God speaks…is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow

[of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.

(Hebrews 4:12 AMP)

1.       Today I will live in the now!  I will live in the now because the true Word of God is cutting through all of my old, dead, religious, self-defeating strongholds and thought patterns, setting me free to develop His picture of my life in this world.  The sword of the Lord divides my soul and spirit, bringing health and wholeness to me by discerning and discovering my genuine self in Christ!

2.       Today I will dare to do what hasn’t been done as I discover destiny through the door of dreams!  The “now” Word is activating me to realize the vision of God for my life as he makes my dreams come true in order to unfold His purpose and plan for me.  The realization that anything is possible continues to dawn on me, increasing steadily as the light of day.

3.       Today I will cut through my unnecessary tradition, repenting of any idolatry to the past, in order to discover the pioneering spirit in me that is searching for new frontiers of revelation knowledge.  I will think clearly today, because my mind is uncluttered and my vision is focused.

4.       Today I will cut through the fear of failure and will be free to be faithful to my faith.  With God on my side, I will not shy away from the urge to go out on a limb, get in over my head, or bite off more than I can chew!  His Word will be my anchor as I courageously launch out into the deep!

5.       Today I will flow with God’s ideas, God’s dreams and God’s vision, knowing that He finishes whatever He authors.  I trust him completely with my life, destiny and future.

6.       Today I will allow the good fight of faith to bring out the best in me, to develop my character and to build my confidence as a mighty warrior of God!  Because I know that I cannot walk in fear and faith at the same time, any more than I could travel north and south at the same time, I am resolved to move forward with God’s sword in my hand and His praise in my mouth (Psalm 149:6).

7.       Today I will use His sword to cut out all of the nonsense in my life, refusing to put up any longer with that which is counterproductive to His purposes.  I will keep the sword sharp today, and today I will live in the now!

Father, help me to keep my life on the cutting edge today.  In Jesus’ name, amen.
