March 13: CREATE JOY!

laughing

“. . . Weeping may endure for a night, but JOY comes in the morning.” (Psalm 30:5)

1. Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because I have access to my unalienable, Kingdom rights to righteousness, peace and JOY in the Holy Ghost! I have joy by the answer of my mouth – His strength-giving joy that keeps me young, vibrant, and healthy today. I will use my creative ability to allow the issues of life to flow from my heart, out into the world around me, causing the landscape to lighten up and live!

2. Today I will not have to wait for external things to bring me joy and happiness. I am joyful now! Because Jesus has given me His own supernatural, inward joy – a fruit of the recreated spirit (the fruit of the spirit is joy) – I am able to be genuinely joyful, regardless of outward circumstances or situations. My cup runs over!

3. Today I will use the solid front of Kingdom joy to ward off and repel oppression and depression, sadness and anxiety. My renewed mind is positively hopeful and optimistic in Christ, as I walk in a different dimension from those who dwell in daily drudgery.

4. Today I will create an atmosphere of joy by my words and attitude – my reactions – my laughter – my peace of mind. The joy of the Lord, in cooperation with my own joy, will be influentially inspirational and corporately contagious. It will enable me to help make the world a better place in which to live today.

5. Today I will be radiant with the glory of the Lord – His joy – His praise – will cause me to be attractive and highly favored today. The strength that comes from godly joy will win the day, and bring satisfying success to me, as I prosper in relation to the prosperity of my soul.

6. Today I will turn a long-standing and negative situation around through the force of joy. The paradigm shift that I experience will pull down strongholds of despair and hopelessness. The joy of the Lord makes anything possible today.

7. Today I will be a singer, a dancer, a praiser, and a warrior for the Kingdom of God. His praise shall continually be in my mouth, and with joy I will draw water out of the wells of salvation. Victory is mine today, and today I will live in the now!

Father, help me to create joy today. In Jesus’ name, amen.

February 10: KEEP SMILING!

“. . . the joy of the Lord is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10)

1. Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because I have the joy that Jesus Himself has given me to bring me through every circumstance of my day. I “count it all joy,” even when I have to deal with negative situations in my life, because the power of supernatural joy always causes me to win!

2. Today I celebrate my Kingdom rights to righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost! My merry heart will do me good like a medicine and will enable me to partake of a continual feast today.

3. Today I will not be worried or anxious; I will not be fearful and depressed. I know that, regardless of what things may look like right now (in the natural), I actually have a great life and can afford to let myself be happy. I can smile, laugh, sing, and be absolutely positive in my attitude . . . and because I can, I will!

4. Today I will not be in denial of whatever trials I may have to deal with, but I will endure every cross for the joy that is set before me. I can declare the end from the beginning, and call those things that are not as though they are. In my heart I know that everything is going to be all right.

5. Today I will do something to help me maintain a high level of joy . . . take a walk . . . get some fresh air . . . laugh with a friend . . . sing a song . . . accept a compliment . . . help somebody . . . be a blessing . . . get some exercise . . . eat something delicious . . . meditate the Word . . . do something fun . . . praise the Lord . . . be good to myself . . . let go of a grudge . . . learn something new . . . play . . . change my thinking.

6. Today I will expect the best, but will find satisfaction with what I have now. I will be content, without becoming complacent.

7. Today I will be strengthened by joy, even in the midst of a fiery trial, and I will come through that fire without the smell of it on my clothes! I will speak words of life, be proactive in every situation, keep a good attitude, and will, basically, just have a great day because I have His joy. I will overcome today, and today I will live in the now!

Father, help me to keep smiling today, and to remember that Your joy is my strength. In Jesus’ name, amen.

January 9: REJOICE TODAY!

This is the day the Lord has made;

we will rejoice and be glad in it.  (Psalm 118:24)

1.       Today I will live in the now!  I will live in the now because I understand and appreciate the energizing power of rejoicing in the now.  Today I joyfully celebrate the present and all of the possibilities that it presents.  I exercise my will—I will rejoice, and I WILL be glad in this day!  Today I choose to wear the garment of praise instead of the spirit of heaviness.  I choose happiness!  I choose joy!

2.       Today I will resist the temptation to whine, complain, murmur, grumble, mourn, lament, moan and groan, be depressed, feel sorry for myself, feel down and out, feel dejected, feel discontented, feel oppressed, be sad or even be in a bad mood.  Instead, my merry heart will do me good like a medicine…I will glory in my infirmities (for when I am weak, then I am strong)…I will count it all joy when I fall into various trials…I will leap for joy at persecution…the joy of the Lord will be my strength!

3.       Today I will laugh, finding the humor in my current situations.  I will recognize what is funny, and I will not hesitate to enjoy it.  I will not waste today by living in regret, but with joy I will draw water out of the wells of salvation.  I will even find the proper way to appreciate the absurd and the ridiculous.  I will let God use the foolish things of the world to confound the wise around me.

4.       Today I will enter the Kingdom by becoming like a little child…laughing…playing…having fun…not taking life too seriously.  I will make the effort to enjoy my day.  I will smile at people.  I will be a pleasure to be with.  People will enjoy my company today because my joy will be both attractive and infectious.  I will be a blessing to others.

5.       Today, for the joy that is set before me, I will endure my cross.  I will know the reality of the resurrection and, therefore, will see no situation as hopeless.  Life will always triumph over death.  I will celebrate my life.  The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead will live big in me today!

6.       Today I will be optimistic.  I will see the glass half full.  I will think positively.  I will think on those things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely and of a good report.  I will walk in the Mind of Christ.  I will be proactive in dealing with the people around me and with all of their issues.  My joyful mind will cause me to think like a winner!

7.       Today I will be thankful to God and grateful for my life.  I will make melody in my heart to the Lord in an attitude of praise and worship.  I will be renewed by the refreshing laughter of Christ in my spirit.  This is my day that the Lord has made—I will rejoice and be glad in it and, today, I will live in the now!

Father, help me to remember to rejoice today.  In Jesus’ name, amen.
