April In The Now!

A month to be reminded of the life-giving properties of rain.

Every day is a beautiful day, regardless of the weather . . .

that’s why the birds sing every morning, no matter the conditions,

and why Jesus commanded that we consider the birds of the air

to understand how to function in the Kingdom.

The water helps the earth through its times of transition,

and enables the trees of the field to produce their fruit.

Every manifestation of weather is beautiful in its own way . . .

even the deadliest storm has its own majestic beauty,

as it brings its harsh purging to the stubborn earth.

Don’t be afraid of the thunder and lightening above you, for it will soon pass.

the volume of the thunder . . .

the velocity of the lightning . . .

the violence of the winds . . .

and know that your God is a great and mighty God.

For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My Word be that goes forth from MY mouth; it shall not return to ME void [empty, without fruit], but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.  (Isaiah 55:10, 11)

April 1

The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl.

And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.  (Revelation 21:21)

1.       Today I will live in the now!  I will live in the now because my life has been purified by the fire of the Holy Ghost and I am coming forth as gold that is refined to the point of being transparent.  Having been purged, I can live this day with no pretense, phoniness or hypocrisy, giving myself permission to be a real person seeking the real God in the real world!

2.       Today I will accept the fact that my life has also been purified through tribulation (“…We must through many tribulations enter the Kingdom of God.” – Acts 14:22), so I will make peace with my past, releasing all regrets, walking in the wisdom that comes only by learning from failure and mistakes.

3.       Today I will embrace openness, living an honest life before the world—no hidden agenda, no camouflage of religion, no axe to grind.  The pure gold within me allows me to walk in harmony with my surroundings, going with the flow, enjoying my Kingdom rights to righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.

4.       Today I will accept my acceptance in the Beloved.  I will strive to be open about who I am, revealing the many aspects of my personality (my coat of many colors) and will not be afraid to let others see my flaws and shortcomings, as well as my winner qualities.  My transparency will allow me to admit when I am wrong and to stand up for what I believe when I believe that I am right.

5.       Today I will work toward peer Kingdom relationships where the partners are neither right nor wrong—where both  are human, make errors, share frailties—and are mutually respect-ful and loving (love covers a multitude of sins).

6.       Today I will realize that perfection is a false image, fostered by religion and is not only unobtainable, but unhealthy and undesirable.  It is only “in Christ” that I can be complete, so I will not demand others to be, individually, what I will not expect myself to be, individually.  Only the unified, corporate Body of Christ can achieve His perfection under His headship as it is “fitly joined TOGETHER.”

7.       Today I will use the pearls of my life (gems evolved through pressure and pain) as gates into the Kingdom.  All things will work together for my good today, so I will not try to prevent the process today, and today I will live in the now!

Father, help me to come out of the fire as pure gold today.  In Jesus’ name, amen.

A month to make room for miracles.

Time for a spiritual, mental and emotional “spring-cleaning” . . .

The explosion of color everywhere . . . new life . . . new growth . . .

makes it easy to believe for the impossible . . . to hope again . . . to dream again . . .

Spring-cleaning means opening the windows (of your spirit),

sweeping out the cobwebs (of your mind), and shaking out the dust (of your memories) . . .

March is the time for those who envision the harvest of the future to begin to plant tiny

seeds of the now . . .

the patience to plow . . .

the selflessness to sow . . .

the grace to grow . . .

In just a few days, you’ll see miracles start to sprout up all over the place . . .

first the blade . . . then the ear . . . then the full grain in the ear . . .

Spring-cleaning and prophetic planting mean making room for more to come.

It’s all about the possibilities of resurrection . . .

Anything can happen in the month of March!

Through the tender mercy of our God with which the Dayspring from on high has visited us.  (Luke 1:78)

The month that sets the tone for the entire year.

New beginnings . . . a fresh start . . . putting the past behind you . . .

a time for discovering destiny through the door of dreams

. . . for voicing vision

. . . for prophesying possibilities

. . . for sowing seeds for success.

Write down your goals for the new year, but write them in pencil.

Speak your faith:

. . . declare the end from the beginning

. . . call those things that are not as though they are

. . . prophesy to the wind—

but in all of your endeavors of faith,

always leave room for God to do

exceeding, abundantly above all that you can ask or think.

For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.  (Jeremiah 29:11 AMP)
