April 17: JESUS REIGNS!

jesus-reigns

The Lord reigns, He is clothed with majesty;

the Lord is clothed, He has girded Himself with strength.

Surely the world is established, so that it cannot be moved.  (Psalm 93:1)

1.       Today I will live in the now!  I will live in the now because I have the authority of Jesus the King—His own stamp of approval and favor—producing in me the ability to reign as a king in this life.  I am an overcomer, and overcomers have been invited to sit with Him on His throne.  Today I will accept that invitation and successfully rule the circumstances of my life with His oversight and cooperation.

2.       Today I will walk in the dominion that God desires for His covenant people to experience on this planet through Christ.  Sickness, disease, defeat, depression, destruction and failure are under His feet and, as a member of His body, they are under me as well.  I am above only and not beneath.

3.       Today I will worship the King in spirit and in truth, not just with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, but with words of victory, acts of valor and a lifestyle that intimidates demons and impresses the heathen.  My demeanor and carriage today will reflect to all who see me that I know who I am…and Whose I am!

4.       Today I will remember that I am a joint heir with the One Who has been given all authority and power in heaven and on earth.  I will decree, declare, prophesy, intercede and confess my way into vital oneness with Him, living in the God-class, producing Kingdom results in this dimension.

5.       Today I will direct all of my efforts toward helping to make the kingdoms of this world the Kingdoms of our God and of His Christ.  The Holy Spirit will be my guide and instructor in following Jesus as my example of authority and righteous self-confidence.  I will turn negative situations around for the good in His Name, refusing to be victimized in any way because I am more than a conqueror!

6.       Today I will let God use me to help make His enemies to be made His footstool.  I will not have to wrestle with flesh and blood, but will use my energy, instead, to accomplish the awesome and to exemplify the extraordinary in the spirit!

7.       Today I will be aware that I am crowned with glory and honor and am made just a little lower than Elohim (God) Himself.  Loving-kindness and tender mercies crown all of my efforts, enabling me to overcome today, knowing that I shall not be moved, because my world is established.  Jesus will reign today and so will I, and today I will live in the now!

Be exalted O God, above the heavens…let Your glory be above the clouds!

April 11: REVELATION KNOWLEDGE!

sunrise

[For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him, by having the eyes of your heart flooded with light…

 (Ephesians 1:17, 18 AMP)

1. Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because, by the power of the Holy Spirit, I am able to discern the mysteries of God and really see what is going on in my life beyond the veil of the natural realm. I have information available to me that transcends the logic of my five senses—revelation knowledge is my sixth sense, and it taps me into eternal truth and wisdom!

2. Today I will use the gifts of the Spirit when necessary: the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, the gift of faith, the gifts of healings, the working of miracles, prophecy, the discerning of spirits, different kinds of tongues and their interpretation (1 Corinthians 12:8-10). I will live a gifted life today, allowing the Holy Spirit to lead me as He wills.

3. Today I will embrace the rhema Word of God, as well as the logos Word. I will be aware of the power of dreams and visions and the interpretation of those dreams and visions. I will endorse the supernatural to the glory of God!

4. Today I will manifest the sevenfold character of God’s Spirit: the Spirit of the Lord, the Spirit of wisdom, the Spirit of understanding, the Spirit of counsel, the Spirit of might, the Spirit of knowledge, and the Spirit of the fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2).

5. Today I will be sensitive to the inner witness—the “still, small voice” of my spirit—paying attention to a “check” in the spirit when wisdom is crying in the streets to me to avoid something. I will trust in the Lord with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, in all my ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct my paths! His revelation knowledge will direct my steps today.

6. Today I will not waste my time arguing and contending with those who are motivated by a religious spirit and, therefore, have no revelation. I will not cast my pearls before swine and give that which is holy to the dogs—those who are learning but never coming to the knowledge of the truth.

7. Today I will remember who I am in Christ and what I have available to me in Him. The eyes of my heart will be flooded with His light today, and today I will live in the now!

Father, help me to live this day, guided by revelation knowledge. In Jesus’ name, amen.

April 6: BE GRATEFUL!

perception

Praise the Lord!  Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!  For His mercy endures forever.  (Psalm 106:1)

1.       Today I will live in the now!  I will live in the now because I can recognize how much I have for which to be thankful.  With a heart full of gratitude, I can face the issues that the day brings with a proper perspective and a positive attitude.  I am blessed and I know that I am blessed, so today I will act like I know that I am blessed!

2.       Today I will be grateful for what God is doing in my life (name three positive things that are happening in your spiritual life right now):

 3.       Today I will be grateful for the people in my life (name three people who are important to your progress right now):

 4.       Today I will be grateful for the unexpected blessings that flow out of God’s mercy to me (name three good things that have happened to or for you lately that were total surprises):

 5.       Today I will be grateful for the wonderful memories that I always carry with me (name three significant things that have happened in your life that brought you great joy):

6.       Today I will be humbly grateful for the things that I have been able to accomplish with my life  (name three things that you have done that make you feel proud of yourself):

 7.       Today I will be grateful for the little things, seeing the glass half full in every situation, and today I will live in the now!

Father, thank You for everything!

April 5: FORGIVE YOURSELF!

forgiveyourself

For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

But if you do not forgive men their trespasses,

neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

(Matthew 6:14, 15)

If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them;

if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.

(John 20:23)

1.       Today I will live in the now!  I will live in the now because I am mature enough to realize that everyone is flawed (“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” – Romans 3:23 KJV), that perfection is a false image fostered by religion and that God’s grace is the only hope for humanity.

2.       Today I will give myself the same consideration that I am willing to give others.  Jesus said that my ability to receive forgiveness was in direct proportion to my willingness to forgive, so I will enter the flow of the river of mercy today—giving mercy and receiving mercy—forgiving myself, as well as others, so that I will be totally forgiven in His sight.

3.       Today I will shake off the spirit of condemnation and guilt.  I will stop the counterproductive work of blaming myself and I will let it all go.  Today I will be free and confident, unafraid of the faces of people, able to look them in the eye, knowing that I am not perfect, but I AM forgiven!

4.       Today I will give somebody a break.  Because I am forgiven, I will not feel compelled to nag others or complain about their performance—“free and easy” will be the theme for today—no unreasonable and unrealistic expectations of anybody…including me!  No grudges, no finger pointing, just peace and harmony with God and man for me today.

5.       Today I will have confidence before God because my heart does not condemn me (1 John 3:19-21), so whatever I ask I will receive from Him (v.22).

6.       Today I will stay focused on the big picture because my mind is free from self-condemnation.  I will fuel myself with continued optimism and determination because I am undistracted and the lessons that I have learned from my own mistakes will be an incentive to work even harder.

7.       Today I will have a good attitude, knowing that it is well with my soul.  My ability to forgive myself will release me from the past today, so today I will live in the now!

Father, give me the grace to forgive myself today.  In Jesus’ name, amen.

February 22: SPEAK FAITH!

“And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, ‘I believed and therefore I spoke,’ we also believe and therefore speak.”

 (2 Corinthians 4:13)

1. Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because I have the creative ability of God in my spirit, in my mind, and in my mouth. As God created His worlds by the words of His mouth, I will help to create my world today by my faith-filled words (Hebrews 11:3).

2. Today I will call those things that are not as though they are (Romans 4:7), looking to the unseen things that are eternal, rather than the seen things that are temporal (2 Corinthians 4:18).

3. Today I will be justified by my words, and not condemned by them (Matthew 12:37). I will only speak about myself in the way that God would speak about me today.

4. Today I will activate the power of life and death in my tongue by speaking life to that which is positive and needs to grow . . . and by speaking death to that which is unfruitful and needs to die (Proverbs 18:21; Mark 11:12-14, 20-23).

5. Today I will try to turn the direction of any negative conversations that I hear around to a positive one (Romans 12:21).

6. Today I will strive to only say what is necessary, gracious and edifying (Ephesians 4:29).

7. Today I will not allow my words to be idle, but will use them to cause my life to be productive and proactive (Matthew 12:26). I will speak faith today, and today I will live in the now!

I confess the Lordship of Jesus over this day, and command it to come under His authority. Because it is the day that He has made, I say that I will walk in joy and gladness today, not in sorrow or depression. I will walk in light and revelation, not in darkness and deception. I will walk in health and wholeness, and not in sickness or disease. I will walk in prosperity and abundance, not in poverty or lack – in liberty and in the Spirit, not in bondage, or in the flesh. I will walk in wisdom and knowledge, not in ignorance, and the destruction that it causes. I will walk in success, not in failure – in victory, not in defeat – in power, not in weakness – in favor, not in rejection. Today I will walk in the God-kind of life, and not in the law of sin and death. I declare the end from the beginning, that this is a great, productive, blessed, and enjoyable day. I believe in my heart that what I say with my mouth will come to pass concerning the day’s outcome – it is a good day because God is a good God, in the Name of the Apostle and High Priest of my confession – Jesus Christ.
