December 31: IT’S DONE!

“Then He Who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.’
And He said to me, ‘Write, for these words are true and faithful.’
And he said to me, ‘IT IS DONE!
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.
I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.'”
(Revelation 21:5, 6)

1. Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because I am whole and complete in Christ, in Whom everything begins and ends, having come full circle in my destiny as it relates to His Kingdom purposes in Creation. These words are not only faithful and true, they are indelibly written upon the tablets of my heart. Everything that has happened in my life – every experience, whether positive or negative – has been working together to bring me into Him in His fullness. He is not just THE Alpha (The “A”) – He is MY Alpha! My “A!” He is my beginning, my starting point, my personal Genesis, my eternal source and history. He is not just THE Omega (The “Z”) – He is MY Omega! My “Z!” The Author of my faith is the Finisher of my faith. The One Who began a good work in me will complete it until the day of the Lord. He will finish what He started in me! He is my destiny, my eternity, the consummation of my life experiences, my latter that is greater than my former, my happy ending . . . the One Who has been there all along, declaring the end from the beginning. The One Who has ever lived to make intercession for me in order to save me to the uttermost! I am utterly saved – utterly fulfilled – utterly complete – utterly vindicated — utterly in Christ!

2. Today I will look at every unanswered petition, every unmet need, every unfulfilled wish, every incomplete dream in my life, and boldly declare by the God-kind of faith, “It is done . . . finished . . . consummated . . . executed . . . complete!”

3. Today I will drink freely of the water of life and be totally satisfied and filled. Out of my own belly will flow rivers of living water. I am filled with the Spirit!

4. Today I will walk in the full revelation and demonstration of my sonship in Christ. Even though I am a son, I will learn obedience through my suffering and I will come through every fiery trail – no matter how hot – absolutely smoke-free!

5. Today I will overcome instead of looking for an escape. Deliverance is no longer my desire — my ultimate goal is to inherit all things! The Kingdom has come in me! Christ’s work is finished in my behalf, and the travail of His soul is satisfied!

6. Today I will love His appearing – His revelation — in all aspects of my earth-life!

7. Today I will see all things made new, and today I will live in the now!

I decree that it is done! In Jesus’ name, amen!

July 14: KINGDOM REVOLUTION!

upside down world

“I’ve come to change everything, turn everything rightside up
— how I long for it to be finished!”

(Luke 12:50 – The Message)

1. Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because Jesus, the King, is reigning in and with and through me, changing me from the inside out – in my mind, in my heart, and in my faith – so that I can change the world around me, and make it a better place in which to live for future generations. I am changing my mind today – learning to think in a new way – so that I can enter the Kingdom, and bring necessary revolution through the revelation of repentance from my present reality into the realm of righteous rebirth! There is a new world coming, and Christ is already reigning from there.

2. Today I will disassociate myself from demonic strongholds that are resistant to authority and to change. I will do what I can to expose the death that is religion.

3. Today I will make room for the new thing that God is doing in my interior world. I will throw out the non-essential numbers that usually define me, including age, weight, and height, and will adopt a new way of seeing myself (then we shall know even as also we are known – I Corinthians 13:12). A new definition of my personhood is being written on my heart and in my imagination. The Kingdom within is causing changes without, and is creating within me a vision for real revolution!

4. Today I will preserve what is good in my world, and will change what needs improvement. If what needs to be changed is beyond my ability to improve it, I will get help, knowing that revolution requires a responsible team effort.

5. Today I will embrace the excitement and adventure of transition, even the frightening kind, knowing that life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away! The violent take the Kingdom by force, and today I will welcome the shaking of God in my life, not fearing the violence around me. In all these things I am more than a conqueror through Him Who loves me!

6. Today I will overcome the seduction of staying with the familiar and the temptation to let tradition go unchallenged and unchecked. I will outgrow my comfort zone today, and will move into the next chapter of the book of my life, knowing that the ending of the story will be a portrayal of my personal triumph!

7. Today I will run with the vision that is written on my heart by Jesus, the Revolutionary, and I will be changed for the better because of it. Today is the day for my miracle, and today I will live in the now!

Father, let Your Kingdom come, and revolutionize my life today! In Jesus’ name, amen.

June 24: BRIGHT FUTURE!

bright future

“Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.”  (Matthew 6:34 – The Message)

 1. Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because my attention is on the Kingdom, and the Kingdom is always in the now.

 2. Today I will not worry about what’s coming up, because the things that I am dreading may not even happen, and the unknown things are impossible to prepare for. But regardless of what tomorrow brings, I will face it with the confident assurance that the Lord perfects all that concerns me.

3. Today I will run toward the giants that intimidate me, the way David ran toward Goliath. I will not give place to cowardice, but will be aggressive enough to intimidate the thing that is trying to intimidate me!

4. Today I will have no fear of the unknown, but will anticipate the adventure with appreciation for the attitude of authority that I have attained through accepting the Word of God as an absolute anchor for the soul!

5. Today I will start making plans to go to a higher level, preparing myself for new responsibilities.

6. Today I will believe that my latter is going to be greater than my former as I go from glory to glory.

7. Today I will enjoy the day, believing that tomorrow will be even better. I will protect my dreams and visions today, and today I will live in the now!

Father, help me be ready for what’s ahead, and thank You, in advance, for how good it’s all going to turn out for me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

March 27: PERCEIVING PURPOSE!

perceiving-purpose

Mortals make elaborate plans, but God has the last word.

(Proverb 16:1  – The Message)

1.       Today I will live in the now!  I will live in the now because I am tapped in to the reality of my synergistic relationship with God and to the awareness that He and I together are co-creating destiny.  “The plans of the mind and orderly thinking belong to man, but from the Lord comes the [wise] answer of the tongue” (Proverb 16:1 AMP).

2.       Today I will flow with God, recognizing the harmony of our natures, the unity of our purposes and the manifestation of our mutual creativity. “All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirits (the thoughts and intents of the heart)”  (v. 2).

3.       Today I will think with my spiritual, infinite mind, breaking free from an average attitude and a mediocre mentality in order to develop a divine dimension in my daily discipline.  “Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed” (v. 3).

4.       Today I will discern the purpose of the dark side, understanding the positive things that are being developed in my life through negative forces.  “The Lord has made everything [to accommodate itself and contribute] to its own end and HIS OWN PURPOSE—even the wicked [are fitted for their role] for the day of calamity and evil” (v. 4).

5.       Today I will meditate God’s Word to develop sensitivity to His Spirit’s leading, paving my path with the progressive presentation of His perfect plan!  “A man’s mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps and makes them sure” (v. 9).

6.       Today I will exercise my royal right to regulate my life through the revelation of my righteous decrees…my purpose is being revealed through the words of my mouth.  “Divinely directed decisions are on the lips of the king….” (v. 10).

7.    Today I will see the big picture of my purpose, by the Spirit, with my visionary eyes of faith.  “The lot is cast into the lap, but the decision is wholly of the Lord [even the events that seem accidental are really ordered by Him]” (v. 33).  I will remember all these things today, and today I will live in the now!

Father, help me to perceive the significance of what is really happening to me today.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

March 18: CUTTING EDGE!

sword

For the Word that God speaks…is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow

[of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.

(Hebrews 4:12 AMP)

1.       Today I will live in the now!  I will live in the now because the true Word of God is cutting through all of my old, dead, religious, self-defeating strongholds and thought patterns, setting me free to develop His picture of my life in this world.  The sword of the Lord divides my soul and spirit, bringing health and wholeness to me by discerning and discovering my genuine self in Christ!

2.       Today I will dare to do what hasn’t been done as I discover destiny through the door of dreams!  The “now” Word is activating me to realize the vision of God for my life as he makes my dreams come true in order to unfold His purpose and plan for me.  The realization that anything is possible continues to dawn on me, increasing steadily as the light of day.

3.       Today I will cut through my unnecessary tradition, repenting of any idolatry to the past, in order to discover the pioneering spirit in me that is searching for new frontiers of revelation knowledge.  I will think clearly today, because my mind is uncluttered and my vision is focused.

4.       Today I will cut through the fear of failure and will be free to be faithful to my faith.  With God on my side, I will not shy away from the urge to go out on a limb, get in over my head, or bite off more than I can chew!  His Word will be my anchor as I courageously launch out into the deep!

5.       Today I will flow with God’s ideas, God’s dreams and God’s vision, knowing that He finishes whatever He authors.  I trust him completely with my life, destiny and future.

6.       Today I will allow the good fight of faith to bring out the best in me, to develop my character and to build my confidence as a mighty warrior of God!  Because I know that I cannot walk in fear and faith at the same time, any more than I could travel north and south at the same time, I am resolved to move forward with God’s sword in my hand and His praise in my mouth (Psalm 149:6).

7.       Today I will use His sword to cut out all of the nonsense in my life, refusing to put up any longer with that which is counterproductive to His purposes.  I will keep the sword sharp today, and today I will live in the now!

Father, help me to keep my life on the cutting edge today.  In Jesus’ name, amen.

March 2: PARADIGM SHIFT!

paradigm

“Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what He wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.” (Romans 12:2 – The Message)

1. Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because I have the ability to change my life by changing my mind! I am not bound to think like everybody else. I can think beyond my culture and heritage and generation. I can imagine things that exceed my experience, and move past my past points of reference. My mind and thoughts are my own, willfully submitted to the Lordship of Jesus, and are bringing my life into the now!

2. Today I will dare to dream, even when the apparent reality in my life shows no promise of changing or improving. I will expose myself to new ideas, and childlike faith . . . to let myself believe that dreams, even illogical and improbable ones, can and do come true!

3. Today I will empathize with someone else. My spirit of understanding will enable me to see the situation through their window, and to stop trying to force them to see through mine. I don’t have to be right today – someone else may have a valid point that I will be willing to acknowledge and accept. I will even overcome my fear and dread of letting myself finally see myself the way they see me! The truth will set me free!

4. Today I will allow vigorous discussion and idea-exchange with those who do not necessarily think like I do, and the stimulus will release creative energy in me that will flow from the inside out. In speaking with those who may even disagree with me today, I will remain confidently confrontational, without becoming combatively contentious.

5. Today I will listen, learn, read, talk, inquire, investigate, ask, think, converse, reflect, meditate, study, and pay attention to the world around me, in an effort to keep my mind open . . . vital . . . flexible . . . pliable . . . changeable. I will maintain an attitude of youthfulness and sense of wonder, by refusing to let my mind become petrified in its prejudices.

6. Today I will welcome a mental revolution – a brainstorm – a radical idea – an inspiration!

7. Today I will have a new outlook on my life, and today I will live in the now!

Father, show me where I need a paradigm shift today. In Jesus’ name, amen.

February 27: OPEN VISION!

 vision-image

“. . . in those days there was no OPEN VISION.” (1 Samuel 3:1 – KJV)

1.  Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because I have an open vision – a continuing and increasing revelation of God’s Kingdom and power in the earth. Because of the free flow and flexibility of faith in my heart, I am able to embrace my ACCEPTANCE OF CHANGE, as revelation knowledge stretches my mind, and transports me to the next level of glory. Vision-inspired change is good and necessary for my growth and well being, and I welcome it into my life today without any fear.

2. Today I will exercise my ABILITY TO RIGHTLY DIVIDE THE WORD OF GOD. The Holy Spirit, my mentor, tutor, and guide, writes the true Word on the tablet of my heart daily, as my capacity for vision increases. The Word is not bound, and the knowledge of it continually makes me free from falsehoods and fables concerning the real Jesus.

3. Today I will demonstrate my ABANDONMENT OF PREJUDICES. My renewed mind delights in diversity, as vision enables it to proudly wear the coat of many colors today. I am open-minded, enlightened, mature in Christ, and sensitive to God’ voice, as I persistently seek the truth that liberates people and promotes the Kingdom of God.

4. Today I will celebrate my ACCESS TO NEW INFORMATION. Mentally and spiritually, God is doing a new thing in me, as He makes ways in the wilderness, and streams in the desert for my life. I have the Mind of Christ, yet I am eager to learn . . . to grow . . . to rethink a problem . . . to experience a paradigm shift concerning my past.

5. Today I will appreciate the ABSENCE OF RELIGIOUS CONFINEMENT in my life. The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life – and I am alive! My mind is free from the limitations of the old wineskins – the old order – the system of rules and regulations that tries to compete with righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. Vision and revelation has brought me into a large place, activating me to become a liberator of legalists, an emancipator of elitists, with a platform that persistently provokes the pious.

6. Today I will use my ACTIVITY IN THE WORLD to bring glory to God. I will get involved with life today, as a player instead of a spectator, and will make a positive difference when and where I can. My ever-increasing vision demands my “doing!”

7. Today I will show my APPRECIATION OF NOW, because today I will live in the now!

Father, keep my vision open today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
