February 17: LIVIN’ LARGE!

“I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a LARGE PLACE. The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? . . . It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.”

(Psalm 118:5, 6, 8 – KJV)

1. Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because I am free to be myself in God, with no need to try to be something or someone that I am not. No man can DEFINE MY PERSONALITY. “Don’t set people up as experts over your life, letting them tell you what to do. Save that authority for God; let Him tell you what to do. No one else should carry the title of ‘Father’; you have only one Father, and He’s in heaven” (Matthew 23:9, The Message).

2. Today I will live in a large place because no man can DETERMINE MY POTENTIAL! “It is God Himself who has made us what we are .” (Ephesians 2:10, Living Bible).

3. Today I will live in a large place because no man can DETER MY PROGRESS! “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid” (Psalm 27:1)? “. . . If God is for me, who can be against me” (Romans 8:31)?

4. Today I will live in a large place because no man can DELAY MY PROMOTION! For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge; He puts down one, and sets up another (Psalm 75:6, 7).

5. Today I will live in a large place because no man can DECREASE MY PROSPERITY! “The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it” (Proverbs 10:22).

6. Today I will live in a large place because no man can DESTROY MY POSSIBILITIES! “. . . With men it is impossible, but with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26).

7. Today I will live in a large place because no man can DEFEAT MY PURPOSE! “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, who are the called according to His PURPOSE” (Romans 8:28). The only person who could stop me today is me – but, since I believe in myself, I will help myself have a true Kingdom day of progress and productivity in Christ. Today is a big day for me, and today I will live in the now!

Father, help me to live the Kingdom life, as You live big in me today. In Jesus’ name, amen.

April 13: PROSPEROUS SOUL!

tree

Beloved, I pray that you may PROSPER in all things and be in health,

just as your soul prospers.

(3 John 2)

1.       Today I will live in the now!  I will live in the now because I have a mindset and attitude that is conducive to prosperity, one that attracts good things to my life.  My soul (my mind, will and emotions) is prospering, and taking me to a higher level of success and productivity as it unlocks the treasures hidden in the field of my life’s potential.

2.       Today I will comprehend the definition of true prosperity, which involves more than just my financial status.  Peace of mind, excellence of character, sphere of influence, manifestation of leadership ability, and a virtuous life of unselfishness are all viable parts of real prosperity…the kind of prosperity that is a blessing to humanity.

3.       Today I will not contaminate my prosperous mentality with thoughts of guilt—the useless emotion that kills effectiveness—or worry, which is the mirror refection of guilt.  Guilt is past-oriented and worry is future-oriented, and both ensure that absolutely nothing worthwhile will be achieved in the present!  A prosperous soul is one that only functions in the now!

4.       Today I will remember that my state of mind is affecting my health and that good health is more than just the absence of sickness and disease in my body.  Today I will speak words that encourage my body’s natural immune system and re-creative ability to medicate itself from the inside out, but I will also see the big picture of mental and social health, longevity of life and contribution to the health and improvement of the world, and make that my ultimate goal.

5.       Today I will let my prosperous meditation unblock my energy and creativity.  “But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he MEDITATES day and night.  He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall PROSPER” (Psalm 1:2, 3).

6.       Today I will expose myself to information that bends my attention toward prospering, unlocking hidden rooms of potential within my spirit.  I will not lose precious time by letting my problems become obsessions (replaying painful thoughts and memories), but will be empowered by the will to be proactive.  Jesus has already completed His work for me, and nobody else can make me prosper, so I will make the Word work for myself!

7.       Today I will get it together in my soul-life.  I will do whatever is necessary to change my negative thought patterns and self-destructive inner voices, and today I will live in the now!

Father, help me to live my life today with a prosperous mentality.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

March 5: OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS!

   knockeropporunity1opporunity

“I returned and saw under the sun that – The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all.” (Ecclesiastes 9:11)

1. Today I will live in the now! I will live in the now because I can discern the importance of this day, and the opportunities for growth that it presents. By walking in the Spirit, my sense of timing will put me in the right place at the right time – not ahead of schedule, nor falling behind – but perfectly in the zone for realizing potential and creating success.

2. Today I will be perceptive to the people that God has placed in my path to help me progress and to prosper. I will be receptive to the results that my relationship with them will allow me to realize, as I rise to a higher realm of revelation!

3. Today I will recognize the remarkable, and consider it confirmation to God’s plan for me when things seem to fall into a pattern of perfection, not dismissing the extraordinary events of the day as common coincidence. All things will work together today for my good, as God perfects that which concerns me!

4. Today I will be noticed and commended for my diligence, discipline, determination and drive! I will do what needs to be done for the development of the discovery of my dreams, because faith without works is dead, and I am more than just a hearer of the word!

5. Today I will prepare for promotion, knowing that it ultimately comes from the Lord, but that I can do my part to facilitate the favor that I need to find it. As I bind mercy and truth around me, I will obtain the favor with God and man that will surround me like a shield.

6. Today I will be sensitive to ministry opportunity around me, looking to the fields that are ripe for harvest. I will redeem the time, and work while I have daylight to illuminate my path. God can and will use me today as his instrument of influence.

7. Today I will turn a corner on my journey, and will discover that I have only just begun! What I have perceived as a closed door will be seen as a new beginning for me. Today will make a difference in my life, and today I will live in the now!
